MAMMOGRAM

HI

Just a line to say I had my first mammogram with a pacemaker in and it was totally fine. I'm small busted and skinny up top and a little worried that it may have been more difficult. However the nurse was great very careful and we managed to get the Xrays with a wee cameo shot of the PM !

So for anyone concerned make sure the nurse takes their time and is gentle and all will be good.

I completely forgot about my PM (have had for 3 years now) and forgot to mention it to the person doing the mammogram as we were chit chatting about other stuff. She looked at the first set of images and said, "Oh, you have a pacemaker!" and I was like, Oops! Yes I do :)
