Another thing for me to worry about !

I went to the doctor's this morning and he told me that I am  suffering from hypochondria.
I said to him, "Oh no !  Not that as well."

I don't think I can cope with this new illness, can anyone help me ?

I Recommend

by Artist - 2016-10-28 14:15:11

Ian,  I strongly recommend taking the trash out, dusting the furniture, washing the dishes and mowing the lawn.  You definately have too much time on your hands.  If that fails to divert your attention, you can always accidentally slam your fingers in the car door so that you feel less inclined to type messages. I almost took this message seriously until I saw your signature.

Move to the U.S.

by Good Dog - 2016-10-28 14:55:13

Perhaps a large part of your problem happened as a result of losing the Brexit vote. It sounds like it may have affected you personally. I think that you should move to the U.S. and vote for Donald Trump.

He "alone" can fix it. If he is elected, he will make everything better including your hypochondria! He is the "greatest" ever to run for office in the U.S. and we will have the most wonderful country in the world. However, you have to move fast. He isn't letting anyone else come in after he is elected.

BTW...........I think you are in the wrong forum.

Tough Choices !

by IAN MC - 2016-10-28 15:23:29

Artist suggests that I slam my fingers in the car door , GoodDog suggests that I move to the U.S. under President Trump.

I have given this much thought and have arrived at a decision  :-

the most appealing option is the car door !!

What you need is a good dose of efficaciusolol.  That will raise your Chondria level.  You want to be careful, however, too much of it & you will slip into Hyperchondria & that can be wose than fatal, it can turn you into a far right wing Bible & gun clinging conservative.  A bad side effect is it turning you into a sufferer of hyperwolframia.  That will make you howl at the moon & run around neked, drooling slobber & biting people when the moon is full.    That, however, is far better than another side effect called Hypernatrism, which at your age (and mine) can be downright embarrassing - running around au natural on a nudist beachmight be fatal - not to you, but to the 30-somethings who witness it & die from ROFL too hard.

Leadershop By Example

by Artist - 2016-10-29 16:11:58

I have always believed in leadership by example.  In light of that, not only will I slam the fingers on both hands in the car door, I will also add my head to the mix.  That should help to drown out the screams heard round the world if Trump is elected.

Where can I purchase the one, and what tests determine the second? I'm certain I suffer from the same disorder & I'm eager to try the same suggested remedies.  I'm allergic to car doors (long-standing)  and politics (recent ailment,) so some suggestions just won't work for me; however, I was intrigued/entertained by all replies.  Happy Halloween!  ~Jane

Two new Beta Blockers

by IAN MC - 2016-10-31 17:51:40

I understand that two new beta blockers are in competition your side of the pond , trumpolol and clintonolol . Both seem to have the nasty side-effect of raising the blood pressure in a large percentage of people who take them.  Also  I suspect that neither are particularly effective

Should they both not be taken off the market ?
