I am 42 years old. The company I worked for shut down and moved overseas in 2013. No benefits. I never had to pay for health insurance since company paid for it. I got insurance online to avoid the tax penalties. I got Freedom Life Insurance. It is no good. Hardly anything covered. 2 doctor visits per year. No X-rays or test, etc. I had heart failure in July. Cardiologist said I need CRT. Insurance will not pay for it. DR estimated it would cost $60k. I have advanced heart failure. EF is now 30. Was 10 when I went to hospitals. Any suggestions on insurance company I can go though or any other options?
thank you
Jason

Depending upon your state of residence if you don't have any (limited) income you may be eligible for Medicaid.

I don't know how mobile you are, but the Cleveland Clinic may be an option. They have a policy of treating those unable to pay, but I don't know all of their policies and/or what your options would be there. It is worth a check on their website.
