I had a triple lead implant about 4 weeks ago - taken to the emergency room in an ambulance and had my pacemaker inserted about 2 hours after I arrived. I've done quite well but I have a lot of soreness at the site of my pacemaker and in my left shoulder and arm. Is this normal?

Just don't raise it above your shoulder for a couple of more weeks but you don't want to get "frozen shoulder". Move it out, side to side, etc.
Everyone is different with their pain tolerance but it can take a little time for the soreness to end. Just make sure the site is not red, hot or oozing.....those are signs of infection.
Good to hear overall you are feeling well.

Thank you so much. I can't tell you how much I appreciate the advice. So nice to know I'm not in this alone!

Yes, you will feel soreness for at least a month or more and discomfort for several months. Go easy on yourself and you will find that the healing is very subtle. You heal pretty quickly on the surface, but it takes much longer internally. You'll look back in another month and realize how far you have come. Be patient.
