Tattoo after surgery?

What can I say, its been a hell of a month. Well, year really.

I have had 4 ablations and a pacemaker implanted in the past 15 months. My most recent ablation was actually on the 17th, good bye sinus node. Life without a sinus node is interesting so far.

Anyways, I was wondering if anyone has gotten a tattoo after getting an ablation or if you might have an idea of how long after surgery to wait to get one? Or do you think it would be similar to the dental work rule? My cardiologist said there would be absolutely no problem with getting dental work done, I don't need the antibiotics.

Obviously I am going to wait a bit longer since it has only been 10 days since my ablation, but my brother and I are wanting to get matching memorial tattoos for my mother who passed in the beginning of August.

I had a pacemaker when I was 11. I never once thought I wasn't a 'normal kid' nor was I ever treated differently because of it. I could do everything all my friends were doing; I just happened to have a battery attached to my heart to help it work.
