Has anyone had lithotripsy on an extremity? I thought it was not recommended for kidney stones but have never heard about it one way or the other on a foot (heel spur). I looked on SJM's website and it is not on the NO list, but the "ask your doctor" list now. My podiatrist has never had a situation with a paced patient. When we asked my cardiologist 5 years ago, he hadn't run across it either. It settled down that time before any decisions were made, but now it's back again and tripled in size. My doctor likes to be conservative in treatment but I haven't run in 2 months, cortisone did nothing, and we met our deductible for the year, so I'm kinda thinking let's just fix it!
