Recap of Today's Appointment with my General Cardiologist and my PM Nurse

Today I spent a couple of hours at my Cardiologist's office.  After reviewing my CRT-D info inline it was determined that all 3 of my  leads were where they should be and that the real issue was two-fold;  Apparently my base  HR had been set at 70 which was too high for my condition and my Metoprolol prescription had been reduced the day of the inplant to 25 mg once a day.  As of this afternoon, my base HR has been  lowered to 60 and my Metoprolol prescription has been increased to 100 mg a day . I will see my Inplant Specialist on 2 Aug in Fulton, NY for my first post op exam.  Wed I have the telephone people coming in to install a new phone line in the right area of the house for my Merlin Home Transmitter.  Hopefully, things are starting to come together.  Thanks to everyone who shared their opinions with me and gave me words of encouragement.  Sid aka Cardiac Man
