Boston Scientific Lattitude

3 weeks after PM implant.   Thought it would be a piece of cake but have taken a bit to recover.   Still adjusting settings.   I am 68 year old female with Pauses/heartblock but not enough for syncope.   Trying to learn as much as I can about  this brand and also living with a PM.    So glad I found this website.  I have n this site on and off for months.   Would love to talk to someone with similar experience.   Oh, my PM is a 2 lead.  I have a cardiologist and EP and got a second opinion from another EP before I decided to have the procedure.  I live I Houston, Tx.  where we have a world renowned medical center specializing in heart treatments.

It's good you got the pacer before you started passing out! I never understand when people use that as a reason to wait.

It is an easy surgery, but it's still a surgery and will take the body some time to bounce back. Three weeks isn't that long. Three months from now, you'll likely be back to what you were doing before and hopefully feeling better than ever! Most of us heal and move on, get to the point where we rarely give it a thought.

Hello I'm 57 female and had heart block type 1 and some type 2. Had lots of problems at the start as I'm so sensitive and I do think you panic get anxiety and wonder what is going on when you sense thumps in your chest which you didn't notice before. I do lots of cycling so it's been a struggle getting back to normal as I had vertigo too since I fainted.  The pm does self checks so if that's annoying you get them turn off. I don't have rate response on as I don't need help to increase my heart rate for exercise. My ventricle needs 40 per cent pacing and I had my pacing lengthen to give my own heart to beat first and this reduces my palpatations.  Had mine since March and at times feel it in the evenings but not as bad as it was

hope this helps liz
