Wearing suspenders - discomfort - solutions?

I've had my PM for 6 months now and except for 2 things all is well (with my PM at least) - still not comfortable sleeping on my left side; and not being able to wear suspenders comfortably.

I'm wondering if anyone else has had an issue with wearing suspenders and what has worked for them?

The problem for me is that the movement of the suspenders (these are wide, elastic type) irritate the skin over the PM which makes wearing them unpleasant for any length of time.

I need to wear this style of suspender as I enjoy competitive shooting and can't cinch my belt tight enough to hold my pants in place (w/ holster & gun) without the suspenders due to problems related to my hital hernia.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

Go pants free when competing. You may score extra points with some of the judges...

I would think there are numerous belt and holster designs that would fit your needs while not impacting your trousers.

Try putting the suspenders on backwards, with the crossing in the front instead of the back and that may clear your PM.

Now you know what us women go through.  :-)

Elastic support of trousers

The wearing of  trouser suspenders ( braces ) has been associated with pacemaker site ulceration of skin.

I would suggest some suitable padding over your PM if you continue to use these.

Alternatives such as an elasticated waist band would not affect your haitus hernia.

You can be assured of our support concerning  your problem at the Pacemaker Club.

Kind regards,

Selwyn

Maybe you are wearing the suspenders too tight.

You know you're wired when...

Your pacemaker receives radio frequencies.
