Side effects of pacemaker?

Me again with more questions.  :)

Since getting my pacemaker for heart block due to ablation for SVT that went sideways, I have tinnitus and I get weird daily headaches - a headache that comes out of nowhere and disappears just as fast, often with no pain meds.  I also often feel light headed.

My resting heart rate is generally between 70 and 80, and I work out at least three times a week.  I am not on any medication.

I have suggested to the doc that my heart block is a symptom of something else.  He is not buying into it.

Does anyone else have any of these side effects?

Anything is possible

It is highly unlikely that your PM has anything to do with your symptoms. However, anything is possible. Think about it; tinnitus is incurable and nobody is sure what causes it (loud noise and some medications), headaches could be caused by any number of things (some are unknown). The lightheadedness is about the only thing that could be related, but there also could be a million reasons for that. So I think that you need to see a doctor. You likely won't find an answer here.

Similar symptoms

I've had to have my pm adjusted a couple times since getting my pm exactly 3 months ago.  similar symptoms and also irratic heart rhythm.  Resting rate also 70-80.  Doc each time said he didn't see anything wrong, but he'll change the settings slightly.  Last change was two weeks ago and knock wood,  I have been feeling great.  So.....go see your doc and if need be, insist on trying different settings.  fyi I got my pm for mobitz 11 heart block.  No meds.  Good luck!  Keep us informed.  We all care.

Always looking for an answer

Thanks Pm, always a comfort when you know that someone else may have had a similar experience - especially when there appears to be a good outcome!

I didn't have tinnitus before the ablation and I rarely got headaches before the ablation, so it seemed reasonable to look at the common denominators.  I have gone to all sorts of doctors and they have no answers.  I will continue to ask the questions because I am extremely reluctant to feel poorly and I bet someone somewhere has an answer for me.  :)

I appreciate the input always, especially as someone in another post suggested - I may not be asking the right questions, so I am endeavouring to find the correct vocabulary and maybe some of the puzzle pieces will fall into place?

I wasn't really self-conscious about it. I didn't even know I had one until around six or seven years old. I just thought I had a rock in my side.
