Hi all ty for response I went to see my cardiologist today apparently I was in atrial flutter for 3 days Dr said top heart was beating approx 240 per min and bottom was doing its normal thing the funny thing is I never felt this other than feel tired and just not good and after I talked to Dr I looked at my fitbit heartbeat records and it showed it as far as my limits are set on it kinda strange Dr is just gonna see what happens and if I get any more alerts from merlin . I already take flecanide and Metropol so if it keeps happening we will have to try medication change. Thanks Valerie

Yesterday I moved to a new place in my mind and realized how bad I felt 'before' and the difference my pacemaker has made.

Since the Merlin only reads your HR/function when you are home and in range of the device, I am wondering why your cardiologist has not put you on a 30 day monitor to get a more comprehensive evaluation of your cardiac activity. I have worn 30 day monitors twice and they are now wireless and small like a smart phone and transmit 24 hours a day from any location. The device showed days that were almost event free and then documented extremely irratic arrythmias on other days. If your Merlin continues to show HBs in the 240 range, it might be worthwhile to pursue this with your cardiologist.
