I am not planning on letting any of this shorten my life. I am planning on living a long happy battery operated life. You never know maybe it will keep me alive longer. I sure know one thing I would have been dead before starting school without it.
Merlin Monitor

I have a Merlin Monitor too. The Merlin sent a report to my doctor that he used in helping to determine that I should wear a 30 day Holter monitor. On the second day of wearing that monitor, a report was transmitted that resulted in a phone call directing me to report to the ER. It is not uncommon to have arrythmias that you do not feel. Since your doctor did not direct you to go to his office or the ER immediately, it sounds like he wants to more thoroughly check things out. It doesn't help to speculate regarding the type of arrythmias you are having. It might help you to write down your questions prior to your appointment and remember to request a copy of any tests run. Please let us know the results of your appointment. You may need a PM adjustment or change in medications.
