It's Your incision and leads.

Smoking Pot severely decreases the healing processes. Its your incision, pocket, and scar tissue around the leads. Worst case, they will just have to replace the generator, and install new leads. Not a big deal, I'm sure its worth the buzz.
OK...here we go.....

........
1..if one social group sees smoking dope as 'illegal' and another social group deems it to be 'legal'...Hmmmm.....where does the reality lie ??
2..if 'enjoying a drink' is OK..but getting hammered all the time is not.....
3..if an occasional cigarette wont do you any harm..but 20 a day is risky...then make a choice.
4..how do we explain the comment made by my dear friend ...Professor of Cardiology 'JH'...quote.." Butter is lovely..just don't eat too much of it "
5...if I have a concern here...smoking a bit of weed can lead to a greater attraction towards nicotine ,that eclipses MJ in terms of addiction..
There are those on this site that gravitate to being prescriptive on all manner of topics...for myself ,I do not see that this Forum is about telling people what to do...for me its much more about individuals sharing personal information, safely. and without censure..
So Spooner....if you fancy a little toke ...you aint gonna die...keep cool and enjoy your recovery from your new implant.

Plastic Surgeons Refuse

Plastic / Cosmetic Surgeons refuse to work on patents if they smoke anything a week or two before surgery or during the normal healing process of that surgery When you want the best results don't smoke anything until complete healed.

Yesterday I moved to a new place in my mind and realized how bad I felt 'before' and the difference my pacemaker has made.
