Hi grateful heart, they did say that they had not heard of one lasting that long.Maybe I might get a write up in the medical books.On my concern about coughing quite hard whem I got home from hospital, do you think o could have disloged the lead by coughing.

No problem Manduf, it should be ok. If the leads are implanted right it shouldn't be a problem.
