NS-VTs, Atrial Pacing

Had my ICD/PM check today, and asked two questions the EP tech didn't answer to my satisfaction, my EP doc is on vacation.

(1) Non-sustained VT. I had just over 400 incidents of "VT-NS", all one second or less. We think most of them occurred when I was exercising. The tech said that my ventricular ablation this summer, and the beta blockers are working, since I always returned to normal rhythm without the ICD doing anything. She said it was really up to me whether I should even make an appt. with the doctor, he would tell me to stop bicycling (my more strenuous exercise), and continue walking, we would see in 3 months whether the frequency dropped with the less strenuous exercise. Does anyone else have experience with non-sustained VT?

(2) Atrial pacing. She said my ventricles were pacing themselves, but the PM was pacing my atria almost 100% of the time; she called it "atrial kick." Before I had the ICD/PM installed in 2012, my resting pulse seemed to be around 48 bpm, lower when sleeping (result of over 40 years of competitive running and bicycle racing). So if my resting pulse is still that low naturally, I suspect the pacing is not abnormal, since the PM low limit is set to 50. Any comments?
