S'posin' you'd been in a bar fight where some wild-eyed, drunked up nut grabbed a Fosters bottle (empty, of course - no need to waste good beer), broke it off at the neck by smashing it across the edge of the bar & came at you slashing & just happened to land one good blow to the upper chest before you could stop him w/ a good hard knee to the groin followed by a coup de gras left jab to the adams apple!

How would you have expected that to hurt while recovering? Well, that's how much we should expect the results of all the cutting the surgeon did to hurt, Post Op.

(Probably not as badly as you would expect HIM to hurt after your two blows to rather sensitive anatomical features, delivered w/o the benefits of anesthesia. Of course, I did not mention the follow on pain from grabbing his left arm, stretching it out & delivering a swift, hard kick in the exposed armpit by your steel-toed safety boot!)

Welcome to this site.

I had my PM implanted in November 2015 for SSS/Sinus Bradycardia - totally asymptomatic before but an ECG and healthcheck picked up the low pulse rates.

I was tender for a few days, you will get some bruising more than likely, but take it easy and try to relax, keep the arm moving but don't go mad LOL
