Newbie Checking In

Good Morning!
I am a 50 year old male and just got a pacemaker put in last November. I went in for an ablation and the SA node didn't kick in so two days later I received the PM.
Nice to find this forum.

Welcome to the group - I had the same experience, except it was my AV node that was damaged by the ablation. The members here are really supportive and knowledgeable.

I made it 4 days after the ablation before I received my pacemaker. Normal heart rate before ablation was 45 with no issues (except when I went into Tachycardia the night before), after ablation was 35 and it was just too big of a difference for me to handle. .
