Hi! I'm new to the club. I've had a pacemaker for a year. I'm 53 and very active, but my heart rate decreased over time to 35 beats per minute. My mother also needed a PM at 50, so I guess it's in my genes. I would like to know if anyone has had problems when wearing Bluetooth ear buds. I recently purchased them & notice that my PM feels strange when I pair it with my cell phone for workouts.

35 BPM is why I have the PM. I'm now at 60 BPM minimum.

I have an ICD which is both a pacer/defib. I have no problems with mine and it has saved my life.

It shouldn't interfere, I use them for running. Theoretically, magnets can interfere but practically, newer devices are very well shielded and it's not an issue. When in doubt, wear it on the other side. Rule of thumb is keep anything questionable 6" from your pm.
