pacemaker

Hi, I've had my 3 leads Pacemaker for about two years now, what has happened over the last one month is that every time I enter a store my Pacemaker constantly keeps beeping, not good for me as everyone looks at me as if I've stolen something. The pacemaker has never beeped before, now it even beeps when I'm in the store for a few seconds. Do I need to worry that it's not working as it should. Any feedback would be appreciated.

Is your pacemaker beeping or are the store alarms sounding? Some of us have experienced the latter and it does appear to happen with some CRT's (3 leads) which is a larger device.

Some device models beep when the battery is going low. If it is your device beeping, mention it to your Doctor just in case.
