Hi, I'm Elisa, I just had my 4th Pace Maker Installed 11/2015. Due to a cardiologist not listening to me about the type of PM was told I have to have the rest of my lifeI had to have a lot more advanced Pace Maker. In Oct 2002-Feb 2012, I had a BI Ventricular CRT Pace Maker, Medtronics. Then In Feb 2002, I started with a new Cardiologist and my Pace Maker was very low battery, so he changed it out to a Basic very basic Regular Pace Maker, after my CHF getting extremely worse and going from stage 2-4 I finally got a new Cardiologist and now that I have AFIB and severe Heart Failure the Cardiologist turn me over to a Specialist Cardiologist that deals in The Electric System of the Heart. The EP specialist works with the one I use to have. The one I got is new and very nice Professional and agreed with my new Cardiologist and me, that I needed the CRT Bi Ventricular Pace Maker So Now I have a ST Jude CRT-P Bi Ventricular Pacemaker and starting to feel much better then I did. But I have Diastolic Heart Failure Now, due to severe Hypertension and the other Cardiologist refuse to believe I felt like crap with the high BP he knew Its high. Now I'm on some different meds so hopefully it will get better in time.
