Are there any railroad engineers out there who have had a pacemaker implanted and still running the motor?

I have a well tuned pacer. I hardly know I have it. I am 76 year old, hike and camp alone in the desert. I have more energy than I have had in a long time. The only problem is my wife wants to have a knob installed so she can turn the pacer down.
Need to look

You'll need to look through the comments. Use the search button on the upper right corner of the site.
We've had some RR people on the site but they dropped off fairly quickly. So I don't know what happened with them.
PJinSC works in a power plant. You may be able to contact him directly.
When you contact doctors, they usually don't have a clue and take the super safe route. So you usually don't get good information from them.
Sorry, just don't have enough information to tell you anything.
