New member here. I'll see if I can summarize.
B. Scientific implant 2013. Age 57 now. No problems until the last 3 weeks. Started to notice my left thoracic cavity/heart having heavy jumping a few weeks ago. 10/31 b.p. very low with h.r. at 60 and below. My pm limits are 70/130. This past week I got admitted for heavy squeezing and pain (atrial flutter and low b.p.). Finally got my cardiophysiologist to listen and understand the heavy jumping in left thoracic region. He thinks it's pacemaker mediated tachychardia. That the device is picking up the atrial flutter, paces it and then realizes it shouldn't, so it ignores it. At home now and heart rate at 60 and below and still have squeezing/burning in chest. My question, why the flutter still and why the low rate? Another ablation was kind of suggested but since the first two (2013) lasted a matter of hours before converting to arrythmia, I'm a bit gun shy. It's killing me to be inactive right now.
