I had my 2-wire ICD/PM upgraded to 3-wire just prior to an AV Node Ablation two weeks ago. Since a Mitral Valve Repair in January of 2013, I have lived with extreme fatigue and an inability to walk more that 20-30 linear feet without having to stop or sit down for a minute or two. I also have Atrium Fibrillation and BP typically runs 90/60.
After my upgrade procedure, I was expecting some level of symptom relief. This did not happen. Prior to the procedure, my EF had been a steady 20 - 25%. My Cardiologist now tells me it is 35 - 40%. However, I am still fatigued and become SOB with minimal activity. Has anyone had similar experience? I guess my questions are:
Can I expect a later reduction of these symptoms (fatigue and SOB)?
To what extent and how long before noticeable relief?
