Just saying hello to all , like a lot here from what ive read never thought id be a hybrid , but not having felt right for awhile and 2 weeks ago went to go out for my walk and couldnt make it up the hill in front of my house, felt like i was gonna pass out but then it cleared up so i continued with my walk , next day same thing so made doctors appt. and after blood pressure and pulse (39) i saw the nurse talking with my doctor and then i was given an ekg followed by doctors coming in telling me i was in what was called total heart block and an ambulance was on the way to take me to the hospital , so next day after manyyy tests a dual lead pacemaker was put in , im still trying to accept it , but i know without it i wouldnt be here to accept it , so im thankful for this club and you members for all the helpful info

Yes it is a big shock to be faced with a pacemaker, I'm at 5 weeks after and still cannot believe what has happened to me. There is apparently not much warning before one is in the situation, although now looking back, I realize that it has been a long time coming. I suppose everyone gets a big scare when fainting and dizzy spells turn into black-outs, then one consults a cardiologist and the rest is history!

You are correct. A lot of us got the PM without too much warning. Glad you knew about the forum. A lot of good information here.
Hope things go well for you.
