CT Arthrogram of knee

My doc gave me a script for CT Arthrogram of knee because of pain. BCBS requires a pre-cert, its going to Physicians Review, has anyone dealt with this ? I understand the pre-cert, usually a nurse reviews within 24 hours, but with Physicians Review ?? Guess what people cannot do MRI's !!!!!

If all has been documented as to why you need it, hopefully it will be approved. It is getting harder and harder...not a good thing. If it is denied, then appeal it.
