Data Transfer over VoIP

I would like to shed my phone landline, but the VoIP services I have contacted indicate there is no guarantee my St Jude Merlin@home MX1150 will effectively transfer the data. There is a WiFi USB adapter that is supposed to work. Has anybody used one of these and what would be an approximate cost?
Thanks

The pacer systems are really very reliable. The main problem is the incompetent programming of them. If yours is working well for you, get on with life and enjoy it. You probably are more at risk of problems with a valve job than the pacer.

I have VOiP service at my home, via my cable company, and transmit with no problems with a Biotronik ICD
