You need to ask specific questions and get specific answers.

What is the diagnoses. How well does the PM overcome the problems. If not can PM setting changed?

Are they any other heart problems? What i the EF?

What is the purpose of the beta blocker? Is it working?

Can a different beta blocker or a different class of medicine be tried?

I agree with Theknotguy. Cardio rehab is the greatest and the nurses that run the program are very astute in spotting problems because you are being constantly monitored. In addition, it is really good to increase your strength and endurance. I did the 36 week program and have continued to exercise at the cardio:fit center on a regular basis.

I am also on a beta blocker (coreg) and it does take a bit of getting used to.

In addition to specific questions

Do you have the option for cardio rehab?

While I was going through cardio rehab there were several people who started and then were pulled out of the program. The nurses spotted problems and pulled the people out of the program.

Maybe this would be of benefit to you. That is, if you have the option for cardio rehab.

Hope you can find a solution soon.
