Pacemaker - Still having Pains

Hi All,

At 37, I had a pacemaker fitted back in June 2015 (Complete heartblock/2 leads) as I had a low heart rate of around 30 and had constant chest pains throughout 2014(and being nagged to get it all checked up by the wife & work). I personally feel it has nothing to do with the heart and could be my lungs/stomach as they found no scaring on my heart with my MR Scan but they couldn't find any problems and believe raising my heart rate would improve things. Since having the operation, I still feel tired and am suffering from pains (now in my right side of my chest) which last all day/night like an aching/stitch pain. I've had a few check ups at the hosiptal that say my pacemaker is working fine. I personally feel the pacemaker is of no benefit. Has anyone else had these symptoms? I'm not on any medication only tablets to help with stomach acid (which actually work!) I'm at the stage where I don't know what pains are meant to be linked with my heart or if its just stress or worry. Should I go back to my GP to say I think its been a waste of time and I feel no different? the other day I felt like I was on my last legs...a scary experience

The problems may be for anxiety. Or maybe some completely unrelated problem.

Time to see the doctor.
