Hey all,
It's been a while since I have posted. My son began driving and I am spending a lot of time in the passenger seat. My pacer is on the right and the seatbelt is really uncomfortable. I saw a post from 2011 about seatbelt covers, but wanted to know if the site recommended is still a viable solution or are their alternatives to alleviate the discomfort? Thanks!
Eric

I use soft touch seatbelt protector purchased from this site. Have one in each car on drivers side as my pm is on left. When my husband drives, he just lets protector slide down out of way on seat belt. This works fine and is always there ready for me, Better than a folded towel which must be remembered and adjusted, Trish

I ordered the seatbelt cover from the link on this site after trying the fleece cover and a folded towel without much satisfaction. I even tried cutting a small hole in the fleece and positioning it so that the fleece didn't add pressure to my incision. I also played with the position on the car seat, tilting and scooting the seat as far back as it would go.
I have found the product to be really helpful to relieve pressure on the site and would order it again in a heartbeat. (Sorry about the pun.). It's easy to move when and tucks into the console when I'm not the driver.

To tell you the truth I never even give it a second thought. While growing up it never stopped me from doing anything and to this day my girlfriend or my kids need to remind me that I have one!

I used a folded hand towel for a brief period of time after my implant.
