BMI index

Hi,

Does anyone know how to measure this if you have a pacemaker?

The machines that you stand on or grip with both hands, say, do not use with a PM.

I'm currently on a diet program that has me weigh in each week. They like to measure BMI but I can't use their machine. From what I understand, there's a method, weighing in and out of the water but I wouldn't know where to go for that. I'd be interested to know of an easier method.

BMI calculator

There is a calculator, where you enter your height and current weight in either imperial (pounds and inches) or metric units, at http://www.nhlbi.nih.gov/health/educational/lose_wt/BMI/bmicalc.htm

Hope that helps!

Thank you

I will have a look at the suggested website Andy. I can't figure if it would be accurate because everyone's make up is different. Seems the only way of doing it though

I feel so blessed to have this little gem implanted in me. When I think of the alternative it is quite overwhelming sometimes.
