Transmitter and radio

How close can a Merlin transmitter and a radio be? I have placed the transmitter on my night table and the radio is on the same table about 4 in. away.
I go to the pacemaker doctor tomorrow and have'nt started using the transmitter yet.

When I had my Merlin I had it on my nightstand with my clock radio and cordless phone. I had no issues with it and the transmissions were fine. My doctor switched the brand of my PM last year and I can't use it anymore. It was so convenient. Once it was set up I forgot all about it.

Thanks as always. The tech when I went in today said it should be ok.But I always like to ask questions here and get answers from people who have gone thru the same thing
