Don't know

Don't know if I have the exact model they describe but I have a Medtronic Surescan. Maybe because it's implanted I've become rather attached to it.

I have the MRI leads and have undergone an MRI with no problems. Still was getting over the aftereffects of Propofol so I'm not sure of the details.

Mine also has APP - Atrial Preference Pacing - which helps with my afib. I had the APP program turned on at five months and it has kicked in during afib sessions. While it wasn't an immediate improvement, APP did help over the course of a year.

Overall I've been very pleased with the Medtronic PM. If my EP suggests I go to a different manufacturer I'd be reluctant to switch.

I hope you like your Medtronic PM. I also hope everything goes well for you.

Revo MRI by Medtronic

I have this model by Medtronic. I had my implant on 1/1/15. I insisted on the MRI capable pacer because I'm 43 years old, so the chances of needing a MRI are moderate to high later in life. I've had zero problems with it and only really remember that I have it when changing clothes and see the scar or when I wake in the morning and have a tiny amount of muscular tightness in the pocket. Glad I have an MRI capable pacer and even more glad I've stopped passing out!! Good luck. It's a low risk procedure with high yield to quality of life.
