New to Site

Hello Everyone I just had my implant on 4/6/2015,Monday...So far no pain no problems.I have my first stiches check next week but they didn't tell me if I should check the area out before that..Does anyone have any info on that?

Hi, when I had my pacemaker put in, I had a waterproof
dressing, and could shower next day, and was told to visit local doctor in 1 week. to check on it, and have dressing changed , and to make sure no infections ,all was good, and I removed it myself after another week,.so
unless it is not hurting you, or infected a week before seeing your Dr is ok.

I just had a subpectoral pacemaker placement Friday. Some swelling and nagging on/off pain this weekend but nothing too severe ibuprofen can't handle.

They used a surgical glue on my incision and told me to keep dry for about 3 days. After that I can shower but minimize the water on wound and try and avoid direct spray on incision for a week or so longer.
