What Lurch said, use your arm, for sure. Just don't raise it too high or lift too heavy. If you dont move it normally otherwise, your shoulder will freeze.
Please!

Use your left arm! Just don't raise it above your shoulder. If you keep it immobile you will develop "frozen shoulder" which will cause you problems for the rest of your life!

It is just over 10 years since a dual lead device was implanted for complete heart block. It has worked perfectly and I have traveled well near two million miles internationally since then.

I was given a sling to wearat night and for just a couple days. Then began working it within limitations and directions of the EP. Within a couple weeks, was back to full motion, but laid off the heavier lifting for a few months. If you don't use that shoulder joint you will have a tougher time getting back to normal. My shoulders have always popped and cracked, and I actually had arthroscopic surgery on my left shoulder about ten years ago. What I learned from the physical therapists really helped after the PM. I still had my power bands and use them often.
Move it. Move it. Move it.
