Has any one on here tried Garcinia Cambogia? I have a pacemaker and I want to make sure it is safe to take!

Won't bother PM, but

Most of the diet supplements won't bother the PM, but - and that is BUT the supplement in question may cause liver problems as well as some other bad side effects. One of them is being dizzy. This supplement may interfere with your heart condition that caused you to have an PM and/or it may interfere with your heart medications.

That's the major problem with supplements. They may have glowing reports but you aren't always sure how they will affect heart conditions. Nor are you sure how they interact with medications.

Some studies have indicated Garcinia Cambogial isn't that effective for weight loss. You may be able to do just as well by cutting down portion size, drinking more water, and doing a little more exercise.

For me, personally, I'd stay away from it.

Don't give it to your pet rat !

Hi Laura If you have a mouse or a rat at home please do not give it Garcinia Cambogia as laboratory studies have shown that it causes their testicles to atrophy.

But I guess a testicle which shrinks and wastes away weighs less than one that doesn't.

Apparently eating less is a great way to lose weight but I don't think it will ever catch on !

Best of luck

Ian
