Hi Orangebowls,
Good luck with the AV Node ablation. Hopefully, you will be feeling great in no time.
I have a CRT-P with AV Node ablation, and as many others out here will tell you, it might take a little while for you to feel great, but with time you will, so don't get discouraged.
Once you have your AV Node ablation and you're a little further into your recovery, you may need your PM's settings changed some. If that is the case, you might have some really weird symptoms or just feel like crap, so don't panic if that happens. Settings can be changed super easily and make you feel wonderful when everything is right! Be sure and post all of your concerns and symptoms if you're not feeling well, so all of us can give you our experiences and advice on what to ask your EP/cardio docs and PM techs so you can feel better. All of us are different and what works for some might not work for most. The more experiences and advice you get from everyone out here, the better! That way, you'll have a lot of ideas you can take to your doctor or PM tech to try.
I can tell you, the CRT w/AV node ablation isn't the perfect remedy, and you might question your decision at some point, but it's the best we have right now, and I for one, feel a lot better! I think you will too! So, hang in there, keep the faith, stay positive, and let us know how you do.
I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers as I do everyone else on this site!
I'm sending blessings and positive thoughts your way!
