Had PM fitted 24th Feb '15 ago due to collapses which were 2 years apart - complete heart block - had felt healthy in between collapses.
Been having what I expect to be usual soreness plus few white sutures coming through wound but, all in all in past week felt I was going in right direction. Being sensible with arm movement, lifting pushing etc but essentially am completely back to normal living.
Had a wound check last week and removed couple of sutures that had come through and first pacemaker check is not until June.
Suddenly yesterday morning felt very sore below wound, sharp jabbing pains in PM area which eventually subsided in the evening.
Woke up this morning to feeling slightly breathless, tightness and twinges in my lungs when I breathe in and intermittent pulsing in my hand - just not feeling quite right today but not poorly. Jabbing in PM area has now stopped.
Could this be that PM yesterday had to kick in and this is how it feels for some people during and after or, when I felt the initial jabbing pains in pacemaker area could something have moved inside?
Apologies if I'm sounding very naive but this is all very new to me and would be grateful for advice.
Best wishes.

call

When in doubt, call, it's always better to call than wonder. That is not how it feels when it paces, it's seamless and you shouldn't even notice it happening. Did you possibly do something to aggravate it, overdo it or sleep funny? Try icing it.
