Rash

On the 11th of this month I received a new pacemaker. Almost immediately upon waking I started itching. By Thursday morning I was wanting to dig my skin. I took off the bandage and around the incision was this rash. I lifted the corner of one of the steri strips and the skin came with it, oozing fluid. But the incision looked good. by Friday it was twice as bad. Thinking the rash was from the tape. By Monday when I went to the doctor the rash was up my neck and across my chest. But Friday I was on an antibiotic and hydrocortisone 1% cream and Benadryl every 4 hours. Today is Sunday and the rash is still in effect and up to my ears and down into my hips. No one can tell me why?

.......looking at your History,..you could do worse than get down to ER and give them your whole Cardiac Story.

Even the cynics would agree that decent medical proffesionals don't want decent patients to be left with complications like yours..so often dealt with by quick response...don't hang back..get seen to asap..

Its how you FEEL as much as how you are right here..

Do yourself a favour , get down to ER, you are worth it..........................

I'm so sorry you are having to deal with this. I was a nurse in the past before my baby was born with her heart conditions. It sounds like you have something inside of you that either they used or your new pacemaker that you are allergic to. I agree with Tattoo man get seen and scream if you have to at these medical people to do something. I do whatever I need to in order to get things done for my daughter. A million calls or I will go to the ER and start screaming or let them know if something isn't done they will have a lawsuit on their hands. lol the nosiest wheel gets what they need! I do hope all works out for you.

You know you're wired when...

Your pacemaker interferes with your electronic scale.
