new pacemaker

I received my new pacemaker today. I checked into the hospital at 8:30 am, went to surgery at eleven and was on my way home at two. I feel so much better than I did before the replacement. I talked with my doctor yesterday about some concerns and had him explain about my AFib. Because I read what some of you have written, I knew what to ask. My upper heart does not beat at all, is in total afib. The lower part is 80% dependant on the pacemaker. I feel like I have a new lease on life. I had a wonderful Dr that took the time to answer.
