Ask the Pharmacist

Seriously, that's who should be asked about drugs. The doc will know about the PM but the druggist will understand blood pressure meds and ED meds. My sister is a pharmacist and said doctors literally write scripts on the same pad for heart meds and ED meds that are contraindicated. Makes her crazy and then she calls the doctor's office to explain why she won't fill it. She has liability issues too.

Hi,

You should be asking your doctor this question...Also as you are in the UK...tabs now free on NHS if you qualify for free prescriptions......

Do a search at the top I am sure this has been mentioned before, I have heard but don't quote me...Tabs are OK with complete heart block.. But as I said you should ask your doctor first....

You should be asking your Dr this question rather than us !

Your GP would probably have to look up the answer and would then find that Cialis should be used with caution when in combination with blood pressure tablets.

There are some drugs which should NEVER be taken with Cialis e.g nitrates which are used for angina; the combination can be fatal.

I think that having a pacemaker is irrelevant.

Cialis works by relaxing muscles in the walls of blood vessels and , because of this, MAY lead to an extra drop in blood pressure on top of that caused by your BP tablets.

If you were experiencing this interaction you may begin to feel dizzy and this would be a warning to either stop the Cialis or reduce the dosage of the BP tablets but, on the other hand, the interaction may be so slight that you wouldn't notice it.

Use the two together with caution !

and enjoy the benefits of the Cialis !!!!

Cheers

Ian
