Thank you to those who replied to my post regarding Boston Science Latitude Monitor.
I think that my problem was because I had my message machine turned on and the "toll free" number is from them trying to "reach" communicator". I have now turned off my message machine. I will not know for sure if that was the problem until that "toll free area code 412 trys again and I will not pick up but see if it communicates with the "communicator".
I have another PC lab appointment on Friday morning so will be asking a heck of a lot more question in regard to why (if it is that Toll Free number) is it done that way as I have a caller ID and try and "field" my calls from telemarketers! Will post more here as I find out more. Thanks again to all.

My monitor is a Biotronic and it communicates with my pacemaker every night , it is not hooked up to any phone lines and it all occurs wirelessly, just plug it into a power socket.
You know you're wired when...
You fondly named your implanted buddy.

Possibly Hooked Up Wrong

My remote monitor is hooked up so that my phone line first goes directly into the monitor and then there is an "out going" phone line on the monitor that is used to connect to my phone and answering machine. Connecting in this sequence with the phone line going to the monitor first and then out to your phone etc. you might resolve the problems you are having. I hope you are able to get things working alright.
