when is the next meeting??

Hi all I was just wondering if anyone knew when the next ICD support meeting is at Wythenshawe. I haven't been to one since iv been running on batteries and was hoping to catch one soon. Iv looked on the web page and cant find it.

Had my crd-d fitted at Blackpool Victoria, never heard of any meetings there. A good idea, if non at Wythenshaw perhaps we should arrange one for the North West, we invite our respective consultants to give a talk and see which hospital does the best job.

Open invite to all UK members. It would give those of us who live easily with our Cyborg implants the chance to reassure the growing number of UK members (since NICE changed the criteria).

That sounds like a good idea, ill phone the hospital to find out what's the score. I'll post back he's when I get an answer and we can arrange something from there.

Just a bog-standard pacemaker, fitted at Blackpool a year ago. I was surprised at the lack of support groups out there - apart from internet groups, that is. It seems to me that it's something that's missing from the aftercare, at least in the UK.
