Are there any depressants better than others when you have a pacemaker? I do hear there are some you cannot take because they interfere with heart rhythm.

I'm on wellbutrin (generic form is bupropion). Not only do I have no ill effects, it has helped me tremendously. But it is good advice to talk to pharmacists about interactions with other drugs you are taking. good luck

As for my pacemaker (almost 7 years old) I like to think of it in the terms of the old Timex commercial - takes a licking and keeps on ticking.

Hi,
I'm on Sertraline and I do not notice any problems with my pacemaker or heart rythm.
