Hi everyone. I am new here I just last week got wired up. They gave me all these do's and don't do's and I saw my life as I knew it was over. However after reading a lot of post here it seems that all was exagerated and I can still have a pretty niormal life ----using common sense.
ar age 84 I still do my yard work, mow lawn pole saw. leaf blower all those good things.
From the comments here I can still do that without problems.
Thanks for the info

PS Happy birthday to any Marines that may be here

Life isn't over

Hi MVJ3, Your life should not be over with a PM. I assume it was a pacemaker, not defibrillator. I have had a PM for five years and have lived a normal life. I am 79 yo.
You do have to be careful about some things, but you should have been given a booklet that contains all that information. Some items, such as cordless power tools, chain saws, certain power tools, should only be used within a certain distance of your device. Anything that contains magnets should be avoided. But your PM manufacturer's booklet should tell you all that.
Good luck.

Pacemaker Settings

If you are not getting optimal response to your liking call the company and talk to your physician. Your pacemaker settings can be adjusted to maximize the response to your interests and needs. Adjustment period may take a few months but you will awed by the difference.
