pacemaker and cash register touchscreen

I got my pacemaker in Sept. I'm back to work at QuikStop and we have touchscreen registers. If I use my fingertips the screen doesn't work but if I use a pencil eraser or the bed of my fingernail it works fine. Can the pacemaker affect my fingertips?

Your pacemaker has no effect on your ability to use a touch-screen. There are obviously problems with the touch-screen sensitivity. There should be a sensitivity adjustment that could remedy the problem.
