welding

I had a St Jude accent ssir mri fitted two weeks ago, I now heard that I should not weld, which is a huge problem for me as I enjoy tig, mig and inverter arc welding. Is there any way I can protect the pacemaker while welding, I restore classic cars as a hobby (retired) and often need to weld parts etc, I do not do large fabrication welds normally short runs.

The only one we need to avoid is arc welding. There are some members here who have done it successfully. If you do a search of the older posts, it should come right up.
