Does anyone know what the EGM's stands for on your interogation report? I went for my interogation today and on the summary sheet at the bottom under Episodes summary it says
Counts EGM's
PVC's 60 28
this was since Tuesday after my Merlin sent in a report on the 2nd. I have not seen EGM on my other 2 reports. Not worried just curious what that means.
Thanks!!

I thought that was the case too, but in my interrogation yesterday she did absolutely no adjustments, she just read it. I told her my settings were great and not to do a thing.
I see my cardiologist Monday so I will have to ask him.
I am not worried about it at all just curious as I can be nosey...LOL

that EGM 's refer to ventricular tachycardias. I may be wrong and will not be upset ( or surprised ) if anyone thinks differently .
I believe that these EGM's are sometimes triggered off by PM interrogations which seems to have happened in your case, I THINK that these are nothing to worry about.

Hi,
I found this under the abbreviations:
EGM: Electrogram; an "EKG" measured from within the heart instead of from patches placed over the chest. Because it is less likely to pick up other electrical stimuli from other muscles it tends to be more accurate.
Still not quite sure what it means, but maybe someone else does!
