Flu

Last week I had my PM adjusted from 60 to 70, I felt good for the rest of the day, after which when I ran or even when it felt like it it gave me small shocks just like when they test it on the pace maker check, I then got flu and for the last 4 days have been in bed and not felt my heart at all, today I got up to try and get back to normal, but I am getting the painful shocks.
Is this due to the flu or maybe 70 is to high for me??

So glad I have found this sight.

Shocks?

You should not be feeling shocks because you are sick or have the flu. I have bronchitis that just won't clear up, even after a week of antibiotics....but no shocks.

Speak to your Doctor and let him know about the shocks. They may have changed another setting as well.

Question: By any chance, does it feel like "ant bites" or a needle stick around your scar? If that is what you are feeling, that is the nerves knitting back together after the surgery. You can suddenly feel it months later and it comes and goes but really hurts when it happens.

If not, call your Doctor and let them check.

Let us know how it goes.

Thank you for your response, the shocks are round the heart itself, so I will be ringing the doc today. I think they have changed the voltage, let us hope they sort. It out as I have to say all this has been a very bad experience since the very start in July.

This sight has helped a lot more then any hospital I have been too. Although I have just changed consultants and this one looks like he wants to get to the bottom of what has been going on in the last 5 months.

Will come back with on sight and let you know what is happening
