My daughter's replacement

I guess I am feel anxious about my 14 yo having a replacement pacemaker surgery. This will be the least invasive surgery she has had but I am still so worried something will not go as smoothly as they plan.
I found this site and I guess I just needed to vent this anxiety.

I am new to this also but going through data. The chances are very slim of complications. Being 14 they recovery so fast that healing is almost over in a few days. The hard part will be to keep her from raising her hand over her head. If they are just replacing PM and not leads then it should be even more of a breeze.

It is only natural that parents worry about their children.

I am sure that your daughter will be fine. My daughter who is also 14 is now on her third. As she was walking out the hospital last year for her last replacement the lady on the reception of the ward commented that she looked really well and it was hard to believe that she had had anything done.

Replacement done!

My daughter breezed through the replacement like the champion she is. She is doing well now..still careful of the stitches and no martial arts for a while but if that's the worst...I'll take it.
Thank you all for your support!!
