Thanks to everyone who gave me adivice on burning sensation in my arm pit. I took your advice and got rid of the sling during the day and use it only when sleeping. The pain is gone. I am 5 days out and decided to walk around my yard to start a little exercise (have been going upstairs in house) my heart was beating so fast 94 beats a minute. It felt so weird! I felt flushed and nervous. Has anyone felt this way when their heart rate went up? My heart rate was so slow before that it probably has not beat that much in years! I see doctor on Thursday.

NO SLING EVER

Angry Sparrow is right. Nothing about your pacemaker is fragile. You're not going to dislodge anything in your sleep.
If a cardiac rehab program is available to you, I hope you'll take advantage of it. I think you need to relearn what it feels like to have a heart that's up to supplying your needs, and there will be medical personnel there to guide you in building up your exercise tolerance.

ADL rate

Hi!
If your heartbeat was very slow before the implant, it can take a while to get used to a normal pace. In Medtronic pacemakers, when the rate response feature (increases your heart rate when you move around/exercise) is switched on, 95bpm is the nominal setting for "activities in daily life" (ADL rate). So, that's why you got 94bpm when you walked up the stairs. On average this is what a person with a healthy sinus node would get when doing this activity - some get a few more beats, some a few less.
Give it some time to get used to a normal heart rate. And continue to walk, do daily life activities, go for walks etc. Medtronic's rate response feature learns and adjusts to your level of activity. But in order to do so, it does need some time to "figure you out".
Best wishes
